Phonics Songs – Consonant Letter Sounds

Phonics Songs – Short Vowel Sounds
We have a song for each of the short vowel letter sounds and with a Silly School Education TV Subscription you get access to all of short vowel phonics songs and their relevant downloadable teaching resources.
Vowel sounds allow the air to flow freely, cause the chin to drop and allow air to flow easily from the mouth. Short vowel sounds are only last for short duration.

Phonics Songs – Vowels Digraphs
When two vowels are placed together that produce one sound this is called a vowel digraph.
Some vowel digraphs make a single sound but other are dipthongs, also known as gliding vowels. A dipthong is a combination of two connected vowel sounds within the same syllable. Examples of dipthongs are “au” or oi”.
